The 2022-23 Pokémon Trading Card Game Asia Championship Series begins!
The Pokémon Trading Card Game Championship Series moves into a new season starting on September 2022.
Please compete for championship point ranking, which is awarded to players who finish within a specified rank in the official competitions held in each region and aim to get the invites to the Pokémon World Championships 2023.
For information about how to join tournaments or details on event schedules, we will announce those one-by-one on the Trainer’s website once the events have been set. Please check for further announcements.
Championship Point system
■ Period
September 1, 2022 to August 31, 2023
■ Participation conditions
- Players must be registered on the Pokémon Trading Card Game Trainer’s website of the region where they can prove that they are a resident.
- For tournaments scheduled to be held in Hong Kong, separate events will be held for the English and Traditional Chinese language versions of the card.
- Players who want to join the Championship point system and receive points must decide on which language version tournaments they will participate in at the start of the season.
- Players who will participate in tournaments where the English version will be used, please register on the Hong Kong-English Trainer’s website (English site, hereafter).
- Players may not register in both the Traditional Chinese language Trainer’s website and the English language site.
- In case a player is already registered and acquired a player-ID in the Hong Kong-Traditional Chinese version Trainer’s website (Hong Kong-Traditional Chinese site, hereafter), please register in the English site again after you cancel your registration in the Hong Kong-Traditional Chinese site.
- In this situation, the Championship points a player has gained up to that point will be lost and it cannot be transferred to your English site account.
- Players may not change the language version they will participate in, change their player-ID or re-register during the season.

■ About each league
- Junior Those born on September 1, 2011 and later (11 years old and younger *currently September 1, 2021)
- Senior Those born at any time between September 1, 2005 and August 31, 2011 (11-17 years old)
- Masters Those born on or before August 31, 2005 (17 years old and above)
- In each league, participation is determined by the player’s birthdate.

・You may only use English version cards in each tournament.
■ Obtaining points
Players who finish with the 8 highest point totals in the above-mentioned tournaments will have their points recorded as ranking points.
Day1
- The following is the requirement to get invitation to Day1 of Pokémon WCS2023.
- Meet the minimum requirement of having at least 200 championship points or more.
- Be ranked in the Top Positions of their respective regions in their respective division.

Day2
- Champion of the Championships 2022-2023 Hongkong will receive an invite to Day2 of the Pokémon WCS2023.
- The Travel Award is a prize that the Champions will receive.
