How to participate in tournaments
First things first…
You’ve got to start by registering a Trainers Website account!

Registering a Trainers Website account and getting a Player ID is a prerequisite for participating in events.
If you don’t have one yet, register an account by clicking the icon on the top right corner of the website.
※ If you’re a minor, make sure to get a parent or guardian’s permission before registering.
※ Make sure to register an account on the Trainers Website of your country or region of residence, and to participate in the appropriate tournaments. Proof of residence might sometimes be required at events.
Let’s find an event!
Log into your User account, go to the Event page, and look for an event.

You can find a specific event by filtering by dates, location, and type of tournament.

Getting ready for the event
So, did you find an event you’d like to participate in? Let’s click on the event in the search results, and check the conditions for participation.
First, let’s check basic information such as the event’s dates, location, contact information and participation fee, and plan your trip accordingly.
Also keep in mind that tournaments that reward Championship Points (CSP) might require you to submit a deck list or to register in advance. Make sure to check those steps as well!
★ Advance Registration
For events that require Advance Registration, after checking the event detail page, click the Register button on the bottom of the screen.

If your application went through without any issues, you should get a confirmation email at the address you registered in your account.
When the number of applications exceeds the event capacity, participants will be chosen by lottery. You will be able to check the lottery results and see if your participation has been confirmed in your “My Page: My Registrations” space, after the application period is over.

★ Deck Registration
For events that require you to register a deck, you’ll find a Deck Registration button in that same “My Page: My Registrations” space.
Make sure you register a format-legal deck before Deck Registration closes for that event!

★ Canceling your participation
If you become unable to participate in an event due to unavoidable circumstances, please make sure to cancel your participation before the event starts. The Cancel Participation button can be found in the bottom right corner of the event in My Registrations.

※ Some events may also accept on-the-day participation in addition to advance registration.
※ If you have any questions regarding the event such as access, registration etc, please contact the event organizer.
Finally, it’s the big day!
On the day of the event, leave early for the venue after making sure you have everything you’ll need: your deck, sleeves, playmat (you’ll need those for playing!), your smartphone (for checking in and showing your player ID), a document that can serve as proof of residency, and your wallet (if the event has a participation fee).
If you’re not at the venue on time, you might get a penalty. So make sure you’re not late!
