Regarding the banning of using Alolan Vulpix card sleeves in some tournaments
It has been determined that a number of Alolan Vulpix card sleeves, originally released in Japan on September 9, 2022, had a noticeable difference in coloration from one lot to another. As a result, an official announcement banned these sleeves from use in tournaments.
Following this announcement, we will also be banning the use of this product in tournaments in all Asian regions.
Tournaments where this ban applies:
- Pokémon TCG World Championships
- Pokémon Championships
- Pokémon Regional League
- Pokémon Town League
- Select events rewarding exclusive collector Promo cards
Regarding the use of this product in events outside the ones listed above (such as official Pokémon Gym events or Pokémon TCG Event organizer-hosted official independent events), consider asking confirmation from the organizers, and use your best judgement: keeping in mind the fairness of the game and respect towards other players.
