Pokémon Regional League 2022-23 Malaysia Event Outline
The last Malaysia Regional League in this season will be held this April 2023 at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.

Championship points will be awarded to the top finishers in the tournament. Depending on the total number of points earned, you can qualify for the Pokémon World Championships.

If there is some space available after pre-registration ends, we will accept walk-in registration on a first come, first served basis. Pre-register participants will be a priority. If you wish to cancel your registered slot, please cancel in advance through My Page in the Trainers Web. |

【Qualifiers】

The Top 16 players in the final Qualifiers rankings will advance into the Top Cut. |

Rankings | Win: 3 match points, Loss: 0 match points. A Draw counts as a Loss for both players. Players with the same number of match points will have their rankings decided with an additional calculation method. |

Shuffling | As part of COVID-19 protocols, in order to reduce contact between players, please
refrain from touching your opponent’s cards and deck. See below for more details. Also do note that
judges may have to touch players’ cards to check their decks and sleeves. During matches, cards must be shuffled by their owner. Once cards have been sufficiently shuffled, the opposing player may, within reason, ask for an additional shuffle such as written below. Examples of additional shuffle methods: ① “Please shuffle until I say ‘stop’.” ② “Please cut your deck in three piles, then put them back in the order I’ll specify.” ③ “Please put a number of cards I’ll specify from the top of your deck to the bottom.” (Specify a number between 1 and 10) Players who want to check their opponent’s discarded cards should politely ask their opponent to show them their discard pile. The opposing player should then show the contents of their discard pile in a clear manner. |

COVID-19 Policy | Please bring a face mask. Please have a face mask on when entering the venue and keep it on at all times. Otherwise, you will be refused entry into the venue. If you are accompanying a participant, as a guardian or otherwise, you are also required to bring and wear a mask. Please refrain from entering the venue if any of the following applies to you:
