Recap of the 2023 Pokémon TCG Academia Bootcamp

A heartfelt thank you to the 79 players from 28 schools who contributed to the success of the 2023 Pokémon TCG Academia Bootcamp! Taking place on November 18th (Sat) at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, this event’s resounding success was achieved through the enthusiastic participation of players from various universities and colleges across Malaysia.

Road To Championships

The Bootcamp marked the second installment of our TCG Academia series, a comprehensive initiative designed to introduce beginners to the world of Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). The primary aim of the Academia series is to guide novice players through the game’s fundamentals, foster a sense of community, and elevate their skills to a competitive level. The ultimate goal is to have participants enjoy the game, make new friends, and eventually join the Championship Series tournament.

The event saw a remarkable gathering of students from multiple schools, all united by their passion for Pokémon TCG. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as participants engaged in friendly battles, exchanged strategies, and formed lasting connections. Encouraged by the overwhelming response, we are delighted to announce that the next installment of the Academia series is already in the planning stages—the Intercollege Cup! This exciting event will provide participants with the unique opportunity to represent their respective schools and compete against players from other schools. It’s not just a battle of skills; it’s a chance to determine which school boasts the best Pokémon TCG players!
