Pokémon TCG Regional League Singapore September 2022 Recap
The new season officially kicked off with the Regional League in Singapore at Northpoint City on 17-18 September 2022!
The tournament brought together over 100 players within Singapore to compete for the title and glory of Champion, and also for a chance to get closer to qualifying for the next World Championships in Yokohama, Japan. This tournament was the first to introduce cards from the Lost Origin Expansion which released early September, giving players many new cards to consider when building their decks.
On the first day of competition, players battled each other in Best of One Swiss Rounds in an effort to make the second day Top Cut.
Looking at the results of the first day, players’ enthusiasm for Lost Origin is quite apparent: with 5 decks from the Top 8 prominently featuring new cards from the latest set.

The Regional League concluded with Tan Yong Siang crowned as the Champion. They earned 1000 Championships Points (CSP) – what a spectacular start towards qualifying for the 2023 World Championships in Yokohama! The rest of Top 8 also earned an exclusive playmat, and Top 4 received certificates. Congratulations to all our winners!
